No Hood, Not Just Yet…

…but the Mittlets and Lady Antoinette are getting closer and closer.  Josh apparently cannot tell the difference between the President of the United States and a child – or perhaps there’s something about THIS president that means calling him boy is…expected?

Not to be outdone, Miss Ann took her turn:

Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann, equated President Obama’s campaign to a petulant child during an interview Tuesday after being asked about charges from the president’s campaign that her husband had “lied” during last week’s debate.

“I mean, lied about what? This is something he’s been saying all along. This is what he believes.  This is his policy, these are his statements,” Ann Romney said in an interview set to air Wednesday on Fox News. “I mean, lie — it’s sort of like someone that’s, you know, in the sandbox that like lost the game and they’re just going to kick sand in someone’s face and say, ‘you liar.’ I mean, it’s like they lost, and so now they just are going to say, OK, the game, we didn’t like the game.  So to me, it’s poor sportsmanship.”

I wonder sometimes if I’m the only one who sees the irony of a party that cannot abide so much as protest signs against their candidates

or statements of disagreement from those in the public eye

gleefully continuing to slander, denigrate, and demean – to the point of denying even the most basic level of respect – this particular president.

I guess we find out next month.

  1. Yeah, didn’t Paul Ryan just walk out on an interview the other day when the reporter challenged him on one of his answers? Uh-huh, let’s talk about “poor sportsmanship”. Assholes.

    • I’ve decided it’s pretty much a Pavlovian response with this bunch – they literally cannot help themselves. It’s as if they are trying to avenge that dude Sidney Poitier smacked down in “In The Heat Of The Night.”

Either that, or living in real time the sequel “Birth of A Nation II – Electric BOO-galoo.”

      • Jeez, you know what…that theory about “In the Heat Of The Night” is not really that unthinkable. How traumatizing that scene must have been for a certain segment of white America, and now they’re workin’ it all out. Would not surprise me one bit, to be perfectly honest.
